In Memory of Paul Cormaci

Past President of Henrico Association

Paul A. Cormaci, 75, Shawnee, KS, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at his home. Mass of Resurrection will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee, with a Rosary at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sister Servants of Mary, 800 N. 18th St., Kansas City, KS, 66102, or Kansas City Hospice, 10100 W. 87th St., Ste. 100, Overland Park, KS, 66212. Mr. Cormaci was born in Omaha, NE. He received his Electrical Engineering Degree at Iowa State University. He was an Electrical Engineer for the FAA for 32 years. Mr. Cormaci served on the USS Henrico while in the Navy. He also worked as a DER in Aircraft Certification and an Instructor in the Aerospace Program at the University of Kansas for 16 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tuesday Morning Men's Club, the Garden Club, a volunteer for the St. Mary's Food Kitchen, and ushered for the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Survivors include his wife Pat, of the home; daughters Kathie and her husband Gregg Rosenblatt, Austin, TX, Anne and her husband Barton Doubet, Denver, CO, and Carolyn and her husband Jarrod Fish, St. Louis, MO; sons Mike and his wife Alice Cormaci, Slidell, LA, Paul Cormaci, Kansas City, MO, and John and his wife Stacy Cormaci, Charlotte, NC; sister Nell Grealis, Cleveland, OH; and brothers Jack and his wife Trix Cormaci, Omaha, NE, and Fred and his wife Pat Cormaci, Omaha, NE; grandchildren Mary, Matt, Katie, Kelly, Jack, Sam, Charlie, Olivia, and Natalie. When I did it several years ago it cost me for the entry and then for the photo so my advise is send in the information and then a copy of a photo while in the service. It is the best offer you will ever get to be on the log with such people as Chester Nimitz, Tony Curtis, Ernest Borgnine, Johnny Carson and many others.
