This page is for the way we used to put the troops on the beach. It will show photos of the old ways and then show some photos of the new ways for getting the troops to war. If any of you Henrico Squids have any photos of the L.C.V.P's or MIKE-8's I would really appreciate you sending one or two to me to scan and add them to this page.

I'm not up on the new Amphibious Navy so until I can get some good specs on the new L.C.A.C's I'm just going to show you the photos of what the Navy has changed to. I would love to coxswain one of these new landing crafts because they look very fast compared to the days of old and the speed of the L.C.V.P's, MIKE-6's, MIKE-8's and the L.C.U's!

From these photos we can see the Amphibious Navy has changed into a very proud new Navy and one that can put more men, equipment and other necessities on the beaches of the world.
